A.T. STILL UNIVERSITY The mission of A.T. Still University (ATSU) is to prepare students to become competent, caring healthcare professionals. Our goal is to help our graduates to continuously develop and demonstrate integrity, compassion, and ability, and to demonstrate osteopathic principles and philosophy throughout their professional careers. ATSU began in 1892 when Andrew Taylor Still, M.D., D.O. founded the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCOM) in Kirksville, Missouri. Today, A.T. Still University includes five colleges conveniently located in Kirksville and Mesa, Arizona. A.T. Still University's tradition in health education is designed to meet the needs of the busy working professional. We offer a wide variety of online healthcare programs, which are accessible from virtually anywhere. Our online programs allow professionals to continue their education while maintaining their personal and professional lives. ATSU is a leader in medical education, healthcare, and
research. Our students and faculty are part of a proud tradition of integrated, humanistic medical care that encompasses the
body, mind, and spirit of the patient. Our students are
encouraged to join the ATSU wellness program, and to study
psychology, nutrition, and problem-based learning.
A.T. Still University is committed to scholarly inquiry that both anticipates and addresses today's healthcare needs. We encourage our graduates to become leaders in improving community health and wellness, and to have a comprehensive appreciation of the interaction of body, mind, and spirit. COLLEGES OF A.T.
