ACADEMY OF HAIR DESIGN

Our mission is to provide progressive, career-focused education to people like you who seek entry-level careers in cosmetology, nail esthetics, skin esthetics, and cosmetology education in the state of Pennsylvania.
Academy of Hair Design conveniently located in Hazleton, Pennsylvania and Academy of Creative Hair Design located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania provide progressive holistic education to individuals seeking to gain employment in the State of Pennsylvania as a licensed entry-level graduate in Cosmetology, Nail Esthetics, Skin Esthetics and Cosmetology Education. Our small size (less than fifty students) ensures that you'll receive personal attention from your qualified instructor. We offer federal financial aid programs for qualified students.

PROGRAMS AT ACADEMY OF HAIR DESIGN
• Cosmetology—the goal is to prepare students to sit for the State of Pennsylvania cosmetology license exam.
• Nail Technology—the goal is to provide training in the field of natural and artificial nail care. Graduates may earn a Pennsylvania manicurist license after passing the state board examination.
• Skin Esthetics—the goal is to provide training in the field of skin care and makeup.
• Teacher Training—the goal is provide training in cosmetology for the state of Pennsylvania's instructor exam and license. A cosmetology teacher license may be received after passing the Pennsylvania state board examination.

The Academy of Hair Design is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (NACCAS).
FEDERAL FINANCIAL AID
Academy of Hair Design seeks to make education affordable. Federal financial assistance in the form of grants or loans is available to those who qualify. Applicants are encouraged to fill out the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Our FAFSA school code is 015379. Private student loans are also available to those who qualify.
