American InterContinental University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award Associate, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees. This umbrella accreditation includes AIU Buckhead, AIU Dunwoody, AIU South Florida, and AIU Houston.

Financial Aid

At AIU, our financial aid staff assists each student to create an appropriate education finance plan. We want lifelong learning to be within reach for all students, and we’ll do our best to identify the financial aid resources for which you are eligible.

For qualified students, financial aid may come from many sources. They include institutional grants and scholarships, federal financial aid, state aid programs, and private loans. Federal Financial Aid may include the Federal Pell Grant, Academic Competitiveness Grant, The National Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent Grant (National Smart Grant), Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG), Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS), Federal Graduate PLUS loan, and Federal Stafford Loans. University grants or scholarships are based on established criteria as published in the University's catalog and are awarded after verification that the conditions of eligibility have been met. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
