Accreditation and licensing

Angley College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award diplomas, Associate’s degrees and Baccalaureate degrees. Angley College is licensed by the Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education. Angley College is an approved education provider for Nursing Assistants in the State of Florida, and is approved by the State of Florida Board of Nursing as an approved provider of nursing continuing education. The National Health Career Association and the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) has approved certain programs at Angley College, which allows graduates of these programs to sit for various national certification examinations. The American Registry of Medical Assistants recognizes the Medical Assisting program, and students who successfully complete the program are eligible for registration as a Registered Medical Assistant. 

Financial Aid

The Angley College Financial Aid office provides access to a wide variety of resources. Programs for qualified students may include federal financial aid such as Pell Grants, Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, Federal Work Study, Stafford Loans, and Federal PLUS Loans. State programs may include Bright Futures and Florida Post Secondary Student Assistance Grants. Other options may include private loans and customized tuition payment plans. • Children’s Play Center: At our Deland Campus, students may sign their child up for the Angley College Play Center.  If accepted, the child attends the play Center while the student attends classes.  The Play Center service is offered at no additional charge!

• Borrow your textbooks: Our innovative Easy-Loan™ program provides loaner textbooks for many courses. 

• Modular Course Schedules: Angley College keeps working adults in mind. Many programs consist of one course per month.  This modular approach makes it easier to fit your school schedule with work, children, and family.

• Angley College can assist qualified students to earn their high school diploma through our high school partners.  Angley College even has limited enrollment for non-high school graduates through our special “ability to benefit” program.

• Career Services: We know that for most students, the reason for attending college is to get a better job. Our student services department assists students and grads through the job search process. While we cannot guarantee every graduate or student a job, we work closely with each graduate to develop his or her new career.
