CCTT Career Programs
 
Drafting and CAD Program
The objective of this program is to prepare the graduate for employment at entry level in the drafting field and to provide the graduate with the basic skills generally required for career advancement, with a specialization in two of the four following areas:
• ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTING
• CIVIL DRAFTING
• ELECTRONIC DRAFTING
• MECHANICAL DRAFTING
 
Automotive Repair Technician
This program is designed for the student who wants to learn the basic automobile mechanics and electrical systems of modern automobiles and prepare to become an automotive service technician. This program includes instruction in engine performance; brake systems; electrical/electronic systems; suspension and steering; and heating and air-conditioning systems.
 
Air Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration, and Heat Pumps
This program is intended for the student who wants to learn the operation, troubleshooting, and servicing of domestic and commercial air conditioning and heating equipment, and the repair and service of heat pumps. Portions of the National and Local Mechanical Code requirements are presented in each phase of training.
 
Financial Aid
Concerned about cost? Who isn’t! Capitol City Trade & Tech is dedicated to providing financial aid opportunities to those who are qualified. CCTT is an eligible institution under the Federal PELL GRANT, FSEOG, (Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant), FEDERAL WORK-STUDY (FWS), and the PERKINS Loan programs. Eligibility for grant, scholarship, and loan programs is determined upon submission of a financial aid application.
 
CCTT is also eligible under the STAFFORD Loan (Federal Family Education Loan Program), which includes the PLUS Loan program. A full-time financial aid officer is available to provide assistance to our students.
 
Career Development
At Capitol City Trade & Tech, career development services are available to all students at no additional cost. We provide assistance with resume preparation, interviewing techniques, and employment opportunities. While we cannot guarantee a job to any individual graduate, many employers come to CCTT in search of qualified job applicants. In addition, CCTT actively solicits employers for graduate placement. An updated assessment of career opportunities is maintained in the Career Development office.
 
In addition to job placement assistance for grads, the Career Development office will also assist students who require part-time employment while attending school.
