Financial Assistance
City College provides access to a wide variety of financial assistance programs to qualified students. Programs may include federal Stafford loans, federal PLUS loans for parents, federal and state grants, private loans, and scholarships.
We encourage all applicants to contact the Financial Services Department to learn more about financial assistance for those who qualify.
Career Development
City College knows that what’s important to you is your career, and we make every effort to assist our graduates to find rewarding job opportunities. While we cannot guarantee a job for any graduate, our Director of Career Assistance and Development helps graduates to apply for the best position in keeping with their educational focus, talents, and skills.
The Career Assistance and Development Office provides services that may include arranging personal interviews between students and businesses; advising graduates on how to contact representatives of industry or government agencies; and retaining students’ credentials on a permanent basis to provide assistance to alumni in obtaining or changing employment.
The City College Career Placement Center offers career resources to students, recent graduates, and alumni. These may include career postings, job search materials, résumé matching, on-site interviewing, résumé preparation, networking, liaison to employers, and negotiating.
