Admissions
 
At the Court Reporting Institute, we encourage each prospective student to meet with one of our friendly admissions coordinators and discuss the career of court reporting, our college, and the CRID program. Our admissions coordinators help students explore the many rewarding career paths in court reporting, explain the curricula and school schedules, and guide them through the admissions process. Applicants must have a U.S. high school diploma or GED, but there is no other previous education necessary to enter CRID.
 
Accreditation
 
CRID is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Independent Colleges and Schools, approved by the National Court Reporters Association, and licensed by the Texas Workforce Commission. Our court reporting program is approved by the National Court Reporters Association.
 
Financial Aid
 
We know that education can be a significant commitment, and we’re here to help make it easier. At CRID, our friendly and knowledgeable Financial Aid Advisors are specifically trained to assist students as they explore their tuition payment options. Our financial aid advisors can advise students on the available federal financial aid programs, scholarship programs, employer reimbursement programs, and private education funding programs.
 
Some of the Federal financial aid programs available to our students may include Pell Grants, SEOG Grant, Subsidized Stafford Loans, Unsubsidized Stafford Loans, and Parent PLUS loans.
