According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, medical assisting is one of the nation's fastest growing careers.* First Institute Medical Assistant graduates are prepared to assist the physician or other medical personnel in the treatment patients, as well as perform administrative duties. Career opportunities may be found in a variety of settings including doctor's offices, hospitals, clinics, and insurance companies. Course highlights include:

At First Institute, we believe that the cost of education should never deter someone from striving to meet his or her goals.
Financial aid is available to those who qualify. First Institute offers a wide range of assistance plans including federal grant and loan programs. Our Financial Aid Department assists students to determine their eligibility and help set up sensible tuition payment plans.

First Institute has always been concerned with effective career training that leads to a rewarding career. While we cannot guarantee a job to any graduate, we strive to open doors for our graduates.
Prior to graduation, our placement staff and instructors offer to advise every student in developing job search strategies. We utilize years of business and job development experience to assist our grads in applying for appropriate employment.
First Institute's Placement Department works with many top employers in the Midwest, and helps our grads to identify job openings, apply for jobs, and prepare for job interviews.
