Programs
• Accounting Applications
Graduates are ready to apply for entry-level positions in bookkeeping, auditing and office management.
• Computer Applications
Graduates prepare for careers in business and computer-related fields, and ready for industry-standard certification tests.
• Emergency Medical Services
Graduates possess the skills necessary to provide emergency medical care at a basic life support level with an ambulance service, fire departments, hospitals and industries. The program is designed to prepare the student as an emergency medical technician-basic (EMT-B) and as an emergency medical technician-paramedic.
• Medical Assistant
Graduates possess skills focusing on medical terminology, pharmacology, claims processing, record-keeping and computerized billing.
• Medical Insurance Coding Specialist
Graduates possess skills focusing on medical administration, medical insurance and coding, claims processing, and computerized billing & collection.
• Therapeutic Massage
Graduates are qualified to begin new and exciting careers in massage therapy. Students receive extensive preparation and practice in taking the NCBTMB exam, which must be passed for Florida State licensure.

The Florida Career Institute Medical Assistant Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, on recommendation of the Curriculum Review Board of the American Association of Medical Assistant's Endowment.
Financial Aid Department
At Florida Career Institute, we strive to assist our students to create a sensible tuition payment plan. Financial aid is available to those students who qualify, and tuition financing plans are tailored to the needs of individual students.
The Financial Aid Department provides students with guidance in the application process and information about eligibility requirements for various federal, state, and private financial aid programs.
Students receiving financial aid are encouraged to use the department's services, and Florida Career Institute's Financial Aid Department may advise students on how to manage their education loans.

The Florida Career Institute's Career Services Department assists graduates in applying for appropriate entry-level positions that match their capabilities and training. While FCI cannot guarantee a job for every graduate, we make every effort to provide our graduates with effective career planning information.
