Indiana Wesleyan University

Indiana Wesleyan University is a Christ-centered academic community dedicated to changing our world by developing students in scholarship, character, and leadership.

Established in 1920, the main campus of Indiana Wesleyan University is located in Marion, Indiana, one hour north of Indianapolis. Our 300-acre campus is where 2,800 students attend IWU's traditional four-year liberal arts college and residential graduate school.

We also offer programs at satellite locations throughout Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, and Kentucky. Even better, many IWU programs are available online and are accessible nearly anywhere, anytime.

ACADEMICS

Indiana Wesleyan University offers more than 70 undergraduate and eight graduate degree programs. At IWU, we are committed to providing our students with the solid academic foundation they need to excel in their chosen vocation.

The IWU faculty is highly qualified. Many hold leadership positions in their discipline’s national association, and many receive national and international recognition for their research, creativity, writings, and performances

With small class sizes in our APS programs and a student-faculty ratio of 17:1, IWU is dedicated to providing our students with the individual attention they require to excel. Faculty members set a high standard of knowledge and critical thinking, and work with their students to develop thinking processes that are necessary to change their world for Jesus Christ.

Indiana Wesleyan University’s Education Centers

Beginning in 1987, for the convenience of our students IWU’s College of Adult & Professional Studies established four Education Centers across Indiana. We have since grown beyond Indiana, and established Education Centers in Ohio and Kentucky.

Indiana Wesleyan University - Community Locations

IWU comes to your community! IWU has brought its adult degree programs into communities across Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and Illinois near the Indiana border. Wherever there are 15 to 20 adults seeking the same degree, IWU will find a meeting place in their community, and even bring the course materials, text books, and teachers for the duration of their program.

Indiana Wesleyan University has held education programs in over ninety locations in communities in Indiana—perhaps we can organize a program in your town!

FINANCIAL AID

The goal of financial aid at Indiana Wesleyan University is to make a quality Christian education affordable to every student who qualifies. Financial aid programs include federal grants and loans, state programs, scholarships, and private loans and grants. We encourage all applicants to contact the Financial Aid Office and explore the possibilities.

Financial aid is not restricted to four year undergraduates! There are programs available to qualified adults and working professionals, too. Contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.
