Graduates have the knowledge and skills needed towards a rewarding career in the HVACR field.

• Electrician-- DAS Certified Program

Graduates are prepared for employment in a variety of entry-level electrician positions in residential, industrial, new construction electrical work.

• Lab Assistant, EKG Technician/Phlebotomist

Graduates are ready for an entry level position as an EKG technician/lab assistant or phlebotomist,

• Massage Therapy

Graduates are qualified to work in spas, hotels, cruise ships, chiropractic offices, health clubs, or even independently.

• Medical Assistant

Graduates have the skills to assist physicians with bookkeeping, record management, appointment scheduling, insurance, and medical practice management.

• Medical Biller/Coder/Office Specialist

Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions including hospital admitting clerk, medical billing specialist, medical biller, medical insurance specialist, medical coder, medical records clerk, or a medical administrative assistant in a medical/health care or medical billing office.

The Institute for Business and Technology is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). ACCSCT is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally-recognized accrediting agency. The Institute for Business and Technology in Santa Clara has received temporary approval to operate from the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education in order to enable the Bureau to conduct a quality inspection of the institution. The IBT Placement Department provides services including information on job availability, assistance in preparation of resumes, individualized job placement advising, job search advice, and in-class training in the preparation of job resumes, cover letters, and interviewing skills.
