Programs

Associate of Applied Science Degrees

• Paralegal

Students receive training that qualifies them to apply for positions in a law office, corporation, governmental agency, or other entity to perform specifically defined legal support tasks for a lawyer or legal team.

• Medical Assisting

Students are trained for career opportunities including medical assistant, clinical or administrative assistant, and medical receptionist.

• Business Management

Graduates of this program are prepared to assume higher-level responsibilities and expanded career opportunities in a business setting. The curriculum prepares students for experienced office management, administrative and executive assisting, and entry-level supervisory positions.

Diplomas

• Medical Assistant

Students receive training for entry-level positions requiring skills in phlebotomy, pharmacology, electrocardiography, and human anatomy.

• Medical Billing & Coding Specialist

Students receive training for entry-level opportunities including medical receptionist, medical secretary, medical office manager, medical biller/coder, or medical records clerk. 

• Surgical Technologist

Students learn skills required for an entry-level position with an operating room health care team.

• Administrative Specialist

The Administrative Specialist diploma program provides training in basic to advanced levels of the various applications of Microsoft Office software. The program presents general knowledge of the operating system, the Internet, and network connections. Also included is accounting software, related accounting principles, and basic office procedures such as filing, telephone techniques, and scheduling. Emphasis is placed on developing effective communication skills in the various software environments.
