Our students experience a strong, grounded, and practical education in the art of filmmaking, as they interact with seasoned professionals from within the film industry. Our faculty consists of dedicated and experienced filmmakers, many of whom bring knowledge and techniques straight from the Hollywood set.

 

Our curriculum consists of an immersive program that takes students through the art of screenwriting, producing, directing, cinematography, editing, production design, sound design, and much more.
  
Associate of Science Degree in Film — One Year Program

The Los Angeles Film School's Associate of Science Degree Program provides 48 weeks of in-depth hands-on training and practical experience in filmmaking. This one-year program focuses on linking the complex technical requirements of filmmaking to the filmmaker’s vision and creativity.
 
Financial Aid

The Los Angeles Film School's Financial Aid Department assists students in creating a workable financial plan. Many of our students receive some form of financial aid while attending. The school offers access to Federal loans, Federal grants, alternative loans, and LA Film School scholarships for those who qualify.
