Accreditation
McCann School of Business & Technology is accredited to award occupational associate degrees and diplomas by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education. McCann School of Business & Technology is authorized by the Department of Education, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, to confer the degree of Associate in Specialized Business for completion of two-year programs. McCann School of Business & Technology is licensed by the State Board of Private Licensed Schools, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Financial Assistance
We encourage all students to meet with a McCann Financial Aid Officer, who will review the options available to qualified students. These may include the Stafford Subsidized Loan, Stafford Unsubsidized Loan, PLUS Loan, or student grants including the Federal Pell Grant. Veterans, widows and wives of disabled veterans, and war orphans may be eligible for educational benefits. Appropriate V.A. forms should be obtained, completed and submitted to McCann as far in advance of enrollment as possible. Forms may be obtained from your V.A. officer.
Career Placement
At McCann School of Business & Technology, we can't guarantee future employment, but we are proud of our record of job placement for McCann graduates. We offer our students and graduates a wide range of support programs that are designed not only to help get that first job, but to build a successful career.
• We offer an Externship Program to all students enrolled in degree programs and many of the students enrolled in specialized diploma programs. The Externship Program enables students to obtain hands-on experience in their chosen field.
• We offer every McCann graduate a two-credit Career Management course. The course covers many aspects of the job search process, including identifying employment opportunities, developing resumes, writing cover letters, interviewing skills, salary negotiation, and writing thank you letters. There's even a Mock Job Interview, where local employers simulate a real job interview and students have the opportunity to apply the skills learned in the course.

• All McCann degree or diploma program graduates are eligible for placement assistance throughout their careers.
