ST. GREGORY'S UNIVERSITY St. Gregory's is a private, coeducational Roman Catholic University, offering a liberal arts education in the tradition of the Benedictine Order. St. Gregory's promotes the education of the whole person in the context of a Christian community, and students are encouraged to develop a love of learning and to live with generosity, balance, and integrity. Founded by Benedictine monks in 1875, St. Gregory's is located in Shawnee, Oklahoma, 35 miles east of Oklahoma City. St. Gregory's University is a ministry of St. Gregory's Abbey, which is located on the east side of campus and is home to priests and brothers, some of whom teach and administer at the University. We reach out to Catholics and to members of other faiths who value the distinctive benefits that our educational program offers. We offer financial aid to those who are qualified, and our faculty is dedicated to the personal and professional success of our students. St. Gregory fields intercollegiate athletic teams, and offers a wide variety of campus activities for a well-rounded college experience. ACADEMIC DIVISIONS College for Working Adults (CWA) The College for Working Adults offers career-focused programs designed to provide quality education for working adults. Accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools since 1969, a degree from St. Gregory's University is recognized throughout both academic and business communities. • Classes meet weekly from 6:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. at a convenient location. • Students also meet weekly with a small learning team. • Courses meet on the same night in the same location for the entire length of the program, with some exceptions. • Enrollment is limited to career-minded men and women. • Small classes of no more than 22 students promote positive interaction.
