Accreditation
 
The College of Westchester is accredited by The Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The College of Westchester is registered to award the Associate in Applied Science Degree (A.A.S) and the Associate in Occupational Studies Degree (A.O.S) by the New York State Education Department Office of Higher Education and the Professions.
 
 
Financial Aid
 
We are committed to making a College of Westchester education affordable. Our trained financial assistance counselors may conduct a confidential financial planning analysis, detailing the tuition payment opportunities available. Federal and state financial assistance may be available for qualified students, and CW offers a variety of institutional scholarships, grants, loans, and payment plans to selected students.
 
 
Career Services
 
The Office of Career Services assists students in their search for appropriate employment opportunities. Students are advised in job-search skills including researching potential employers, writing resumés, completion of employment applications, letters of application and recommendation, securing job interviews, effective interview techniques, job interview follow-up, grooming, professional attire, and business etiquette.
 
Our career counseling staff has paid or unpaid internship opportunities related to areas of study. Participating employers are located throughout the tri-state area, and employers determine which students are accepted. Students who successfully complete internships may receive credit toward their degree.
 
The Office of Career Services may also assist students in applying for part-time employment while they study. The College of Westchester cannot guarantee a job for any graduate or student, but we make every effort to assist students find meaningful employment.
