Our Comprehensive Training programs help students develop skills that may enable them to make their dream job a reality. Career Quest maintains long-term relationships with area employers, which helps us to identify new development in the job marketplace.
Programs:
HEALTHCARE
• Medical Assistant - Students are prepared for entry-level employment in today's modern medical setting. Curriculum includes medical terminology, medical transcription, clinical procedures, laboratory procedures and an externship.
• Medical Administrative Assistant - Students are prepared for entry-level positions in administrative and office automation occupations, with emphasis on medical office settings. Curriculum includes medical billing, medical coding, and medical terminology.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - The Certified Nurse Aide program prepares the student with the fundamental skills required to perform the job duties of a Certified Nurse Aide. This program follows the requirements of the State of Michigan Curriculum Model for Nurse Aide Training (2006). It will provide the mandatory skills, knowledge base and theory required for proficiency within the nurse aide scope of practice.
• Health Information Technology - The Health Information Technology program will prepare students for the modern health care office environment. It's a world where maintaining patient records is a high priority. Students will be prepared to help assemble patients' health information including medical history, exam results, tests, treatments and provider services. Technicians will organize and manage health information data by learning to ensure its quality, accuracy and security. Communications with physicians and other health care professionals is also part of the technician's job and students will participate in an externship to get field experience prior to graduation.
• Patient Care Technician (PCT) - The Patient Care Technician Program prepares students to follow instructions, communicate and perform fundamental skills required to perform the job duties of a Patient Care Technician.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
• IT Professional - The I.T. Professional Program helps students achieve the skills necessary for a career in the high demand Information Technology (I.T.) field. The program prepares students for entry-level employment in end-user computer support occupations. Career advancement in a variety of I.T. career fields, including computer hardware and software troubleshooting in local area networks are opportunities as well. Graduates will be qualified for positions such as help desk support specialist, PC technician and computer repair technician.
• Linux System Administrator - The Desktop Linux course prepares students to become proficient in the installation and configuration of the Linux OS and its associated applications. The other courses focus on diagnosing and troubleshooting Linux Desktop problems as well as preparing students to work in the technical field and to interact with clients professionally. These programs include administrator skills, network security and configuration, performance tuning, backup, web server administration, Windows interoperability and managing user accounts.
BUSINESS
• Administrative Office Professional - Students are prepared for entry-level employment in today's modern office setting. Curriculum includes MS Word, Excel, and professional development.

Financial Aid
At Career Quest, we recognize that education may represent a significant personal investment. Career Quest participates in several federal Title IV financial assistance programs that are available to students who qualify. Programs may include the Federal Pell Grant program, the Stafford Loan Program and the Federal PLUS Loan Program. We encourage all applicants to meet with an Admissions Counselor before completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Job Placement Assistance
At Career Quest job placement assistance begins with the New Student Orientation. Students are offered assistance in preparing their resume, developing interviewing techniques, and other techniques that help in finding employment. While we cannot guarantee any student a job, the Career Quest placement department advises students as they approach graduation, with the goal of assisting students to secure employment in the area in which they have been trained.
