Gwynned-Mercy College
Gwynedd-Mercy College is a Catholic career-oriented college with a focus on the liberal arts. Through our quality programs in education, health care, and business administration, we strive to prepare students to become leaders in the region’s growing life-sciences industry. We educate students in the Mercy tradition of service to society, and prepare graduates who create lives and careers with deep meaning.
Founded in 1948 by the Sisters of Mercy, Gwynedd-Mercy College is located within minutes of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With an enrollment of nearly 3,000, we're small enough so that professors can develop mentoring relationships with students, and large enough to offer a vibrant campus life.

The First-Year Experience (FYE): Students make a smooth transition to GMC with our First-Year Experience (FYE) program, where they get to know faculty and fellow students. We offer two program courses, service activities, book discussions, and social events. First-year students gain technology and management skills, explore career options, and journal their experiences.
Financial Aid
At the Gwynedd-Mercy College Financial Aid Office, we strive to work with each student to create a financial aid package that will help the student pursue his or her academic and personal goals. Financial aid is available to those who qualify, and approximately ninety percent of our full-time undergraduate students receive some form of financial assistance.
GMC endeavors to assist as many students as possible by utilizing College, federal, state, and private funds. Financial aid packages may include some combination of scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study employment.
Career Services
The Career Services office strives to provide students with services and resources that will assist in their career development. While we cannot guarantee any student a job, we make every effort to help GMC grads make a successful transition from the classroom to the workplace. Some of the resources we provide may include:
• Resume and cover letter guide
